All pages on our site that contain private customer information are encrypted through Thawte.
NOC is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers and using customer information responsibly. Your e-mail address is used only when we are confirming your order or notifying you of additions, updates or news concerning our website. NOC does not make your e-mail address available to any other companies. All transactions at our site are handled with the industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. When you enter your credit card number and personal information into the order form it is transmitted in an encrypted manner and decoded when it is submitted to our bank processor. This provides the most secure shopping environment for our valued customers at all times.
PRICE MATCHING POLICY
Nantahala Outdoor Center Gear Shop is the leader in paddlesports and will match any competitor prices nationwide on any product we sell, as long as it does not infringe on dealer contracts. If you find the price for less then what we are selling for, send us an email with a link to the product at nocstore@noc.com or call us directly at 1.800.367.3521 and we will work with you to get the product for the best price.
PRICING
NOC follows pricing policies in accordance with dealer contracts and industry standard MSRP pricing. When the NOC Gear Shop sells you an item, we do NOT charge your credit card until after your order has entered the shipping process. NOC makes every effort to assure the accuracy of the pricing and product information on our website. If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation. Prices are subject to change without notice and prices found to be in error do to typographical error or hardware/software error will not be honored.
DISCOUNTS
Club Discounts apply only if we have a current club membership list on hand to confirm your club membership. Please ask your club leadership to send us an updated list. Club discounts are not applied to items already on sale and do not apply to boats or bikes.
Clinic Discounts apply only for the period of time specified in your club information - usually 2 weeks beginning on the date of your clinic. For adventure travel trips, once you are confirmed for the trip, we will offer your discount in advance of your trip to help you prepare for your adventure!

Our staff includes experienced outdoorsmen and women who use the gear we sell, so an answer to your outdoor question is never far away at NOC!
SHIPPING
Shipping Times - Subject to stock availability, almost all orders received before 12:00 PM EST, Monday - Friday (excluding holidays) will be shipped the same day via the requested method. We reserve the right to use an alternative shipping carrier (such as FedEx, DHL, Airborne, USPS, etc) with a comparable (or better) delivery time-frame. Most boats will ship within two business days after your order is received in order for us to prepare your boat for shipment and for coordination with the appropriate trucking company serving your area.

NOC return policy is simple. For most products on our website, if you don't like it, send it back within 30 days for a refund. Your satisfaction is our number one goal. If you are not satisfied with the quality or performance of any of our products within 30 days of purchase, you may return it. We will replace the product or refund your money, whichever you prefer. Hopefully we can find something you like better! No restocking fees, no hassle. We are committed to complete satisfaction with the products we sell. We do not guarantee products which have been abused.
FOOTWEAR
Footwear will be accepted for exchange or return only if unworn.
You have purchased a pair of fine quality footwear. To be sure you are happy with them, we recommend that you first wear them on a carpeted surface so you will be confident of a comfortable fit. NOC honors all vendor warranties and defective footwear will be accepted for repair or exchange if accompanied by receipt. Most of our shoes are designed for camping/trail running/hiking. If such shoes are used for construction work, farming, concrete work, etc they will not be repaired or replaced.
BACK ORDERS
We will advise you if we are temporarily out of an item you have ordered. When we back-order a stock item we ship it at our expense.
