Pyranha has created a cleverly unique boat with the new Ammo. It has combined several classes of boats that we have become familiar with over the past few years. What is the Ammo? Imagine a playboat, a responsive creeker and capable river-runner. This is the realization, the Ammo! Coined as "creek-play," The Ammo's short length and "420esque" hull make this boat rip on a wave or in a hole. Spins, carves and large loops are all a possibility in areas you never thought possible. There is plenty of volume in the bow and stern to allow for quick resurfacing on your favorite tight and technical steep creek as well. Tight and crisp eddy turns and peel outs to and from the smallest eddies are made easy.
This, by far, is what makes the boat great. If eddy hopping your favorite river is your idea of fun, the Ammo will be your "weapon of choice." Pyranha's new Connect 30 Outfitting is a step up from last years. The outfitting is more plush yet predictably stable. A ratchet back band, an unyielding bucket style seat with better padding for pressure points, and roomy bulkhead make for a very smooth ride.
