NOC Boat Demo Policy
Nantahala Outdoor Center has a full line of Kayaks for you to try before you buy. We have sizes in every boat we carry to demo on the Nantahala River or Fontana Lake.
Guidelines: In order to demo a boat, you MUST have Class III whitewater experience. You MUST have your own PFD, Paddle, Helmet, & Sprayskirt. NOC will not provide any paddling gear to you. To demo a boat we require a security deposit as follows:
Up to 1 Hour = Free: we take a scan of your Credit Card for our security
1/2 Day (up to four hours) = $25: we charge your Credit Card
All day (boat back by 6pm) = $40: we charge your Credit Card
