Nantahala Outdoor Center has a great line of boats for you to try before you buy in varying sizes. Boats are available to demo on the Nantahala River or Fontana Lake.

NOC Boat Demo Policy
In order to demo a boat you MUST HAVE:
- Class III whitewater experience.
- Your own PFD, Paddle, Helmet, & Sprayskirt. NOC will not provide any paddling gear other than the boat and standard boat outfitting.
To demo a boat we require a security deposit as follows:
- Up to 1 Hour = Free: we take a scan of your Credit Card for security
- 1/2 Day (up to four hours) = $25: we charge your Credit Card
- All day (boat back by 6pm) = $40: we charge your Credit Card
